Biography


Perri Zilberman is an undergraduate student at SUNY Stony Brook and is going into his second year. Being a physics major, Perri has always has been interested in the inner workings of the Universe. Indeed, during his time in high school, Perri performed research concerning exoplanets – research that had Perri named a semifinalist in the prestigious Siemens Competition, and won him 1st place in the 2017 National Young Astronomer Award Competition, among other accolades. This summer, Perri hopes to further his understanding of light and optics by studying polarization, in addition to other fascinating phenomena.
