Biography: Ian GoyetteI am from East Montpelier, Vermont. I am a student at the University of Vermont , and due to graduate in December with a B.S. in physics. Besides science, my other passion is music. I love to play guitar and sing, and in the past I have played trumpet and piano. I have also dabbled in music recording and engineering as an independent project in my senior year of high school, as well as in my spare time. I try to stay active, so I play various sports (basketball, golf, and frisbee to name a few), run around with my two golden retrievers Lily and Yogi, and spend time with my friends and family. I ended up here at the Laser Teaching Center after taking a physical optics class and developing a desire to further study the subject. In the near future, I will be taking the GRE's and applying to graduate programs in optics. If possible I also hope to do some travelling after graduation and try to revive my espanol.
